Innovative Practice of Sustainable Landscape Architecture Education—Parametric-Aided Design and Application

The traditional teaching model of landscape architecture education is teacher-centered classroom lectures, which cannot effectively satisfy students’ curiosity and stimulate their creative thinking computational skills, resulting in low willingness to learn, inattentiveness, lack participation discussions interactions. This study attempts combine the BOPPPS structure Design-Based Learning innovate design, construct knowledge chain design modeling inspire logic thinking, with visual programming language, virtual reality parametric 3D printing hands-on activities while integrating sustainable development goals related thematic issues develop practical skills problem-solving abilities. Through collecting learning performance, examining quality effectiveness learning, reflecting on revised content methods establishing a plan for education. results show that combination innovative models SDG-related collaborative group helps enhance bring performances different learners closer together. In addition, analysis satisfaction shows it enhances interest motivation learning.
